I don't have the resources to give any great authority to my use and definitions of the words I've illustrated apart from 'I speak the language'.
Likewise no attempt is made to allocate any words to a region or dialect (Scots or otherwise).
Scottish word suggestions and ideas are welcome but words will only be added if independent confirmation of use is found.

I intend this site about Scottish Words to be enjoyed with any type of browser, whatever system, on any platform.
